VICT3R PROJECT

The VICT3R project is a collaborative public-private partnership funded by the European Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), dedicated to reducing animal use in toxicology studies for drug and chemical safety. Through the development of Virtual Control Groups (VCGs), based on curated historical data and approaches using advanced statistics and AI, VICT3R aims to offer a scientifically sound alternative to live control animals. Launched on 1 September 2024, the project runs through 29 February 2028, and brings together a wide network of experts and stakeholders committed to ethical and sustainable research practices.

Organon is co-lead as SME together with the industry partner Hoffman La ROCHE of the Work Package 6 - Statistical analysis and VCG generation pipeline.
